I, Thomas Tredway of Baltimore County, Planter being sick and weak of Body though of sound and perfect memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.
I will that after all my just debts are paid that the remaining part of my estate be reposited and kept in the hands of my truely and well beloved friend Thomas Tredway till my cousin Thomas Brown arrives to the age of Twenty one years, to whom at that age I give and bequeath the same, and well knowing that the many charges of Administration would much before the same
I will and desire that my said friend Thomas Tredway get two honest men to appraise the same to him not at all doubting that he will do all he can for the benefit of my said Nephew
And it is likewise my desire that the said Thomas Tredway see my body buried in a Christian manner and I also will that in case my said cousin Thomas Brown should die before he arrives to the age of Twenty one that then I will and bequeath all such of my Estate as may appear unto Mary Cunningham and her heirs.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21st day of July Annis Dom 1749.

Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator as his last Will and Testament before us the Subscribers who as evidence hereunto Inscribe our names at his request.

Baltimore County, Aug 2nd 1749 Annis Dom. Garret and Edmund Moriss made oath on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they and each of them saw the Testator Thomas Tredway sign the said Will as also the other witness Antell Deaver who was then present as a witness them and that they heard the said Thomas Tredway Publish and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament that att the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehension of sound and disposing mind and memory.
