Hicks and Lucinda Swain.  They were listed in the 1880 Beat 1, Union Co., Mississippi Census.  Fred died on 14 February 1891 in Clarke Co., Arkansas.  Ludia was listed in the 1900 and 1910 Justice Pct. 4, Hill Co., Texas Census, and the 1920 and 1930 Whitney, Hill Co., Texas Census records.  She died on 24 December 1939 and is buried in the Whitney Memorial Park, Whitney, Hill Co., Texas.  Their children were:
