     Know Ye that We have granted unto Moses Tredeway One hundred Acres of Land in New hanover County lying On bear Swamp on the West side of Black river Beginning at a small Oak in the Center of three marked Oaks thence running North one hundred and eighteen Poles to a red bay in a branch crossing of Ridge thence East one hundred and thirty six poles to a stake thence West one hundred and thirty six poles to the first Station.  To Hold unto the said Moses Tredeway his Heirs and assigns forever dated the Ninth day of November 1784
