8 October 1773 Surv.’d for William Tredway 130 acres of land on both sides of the N fork of Chestnut Creek. Bounded as follows VIZ: Beginning at ?(Rs. 6m1)? Mason’s Corner to a poplar & thence new lines N 74 degrees W 96 poles to a red oak N 30 degrees W 54 poles crossing the creek to a white oak N 76 degrees E 64 poles crossing a branch to a red oak N 30 degrees W 18 poles to Ramseys Corner red oak & thence along the same N 80 degrees E 46 poles to a White Oak in the S. (or T. or J.) Ramsey line & thence new lines N 78 degrees E 52 poles crossing a branch to a Red Oak S27 degrees E144 poles crossing on branches to Masons Corner White Oak thence along his Line S 42 degrees W 30 poles to a White Oak on the creek S 27 degrees E16 poles crossing the creek to a white Oak S 20 degrees to a red oak & thence S 82 degrees W 85 poles to the first Station.
