     In the name of God Amen   I Timothy Treadway now of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire being in good health and perfect memory Do make my Will in manor following My body to be buried privately with the least trouble and with no pall bearers where my Executrix hereafter named shall think fit and as for that Worldly Estate wherewith it had pleased God to bless me

I give and bequeath to my Dear wife Catharine Treadway who I appoint my Sole Executrix to this my last Will

I give to my most Worldly Generous and ____ obliging friends my Brother George Knapp and to my Sister his wife Diana Knapp a Gold ring of a Guinea Each if I dye at Mr Laurence Pitmans or my Wife lives there at the time of my Death but not otherwise

I give and bequeath to Mr. Laurence Pitman his wife Ann and Son Bartlett and his Daughter Ann Pitmans a Gold ring of a Guinea Each or the money as they shall please

I give to Elizabeth Smith my servant for her long and faithfull service five Guineas to be payd her within Six months after my death if living with me at the time of my death such of my ____ as my Executrix shall think proper

This Will was proved at London before the Night Worshipfull John Betterson Doctor of Laws Master keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted that twenty ninth day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and forty two By the oath of Catharine Treadway Widow Relict and sole Executrix in the said Will named to whom administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattells and Creditts of the said deceased being first Sworn by Commission duly Adminster Exd
