On the Motion of Thomas Treadway license is Granted unto him to keep according on publick house of Entertainment for and during the space of one year in his Giving Sect’y According to Law. Thereupon the Said Thomas Treadway with William Bradford and John Atkinson his Securitys dothe Acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the right hon’ble the Lord Pro’pry of this Province in the Sum of forty pounds Current Money to be levied on their Bodys goods and Chattles Said Tenements for his use of his Lordship his heirs and Successors, withe Condition that the said Thos. Treadway Should during the Continuance of his said Lycence Comply withe all Matter regarded by An Act of Assembly of this provided Relating to Ordinary keepers or that then the above Recognizance to be void Otherwise to be offered and entered.

Thereupon the af’d Thomas Treadaway, with John Paca and Parker Hall his security acknowledge themselves indebted to his Lordship the right hon’ble Lord Pro’pry the Sum of forty pounds Current money to be made and leaveyd on their bodys goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for use of his said Lordship his heirs and Succsessors with Condition that the af’d Thomas Treadaway should keep an Ordinary or as an Innholder in this County should keep Good rules and orders that Suffer idle loose or disorderly persons to triffle game or commit other disorders or Irregularities in Such ordinary Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the act of assembly.

On Motion of Thomas Treadaway Lycence is granted him to keep an ordinary or publick house of Entertainment for the Ensuing year upon giving such Security as the law directs. Thereupon the above Thos Treadaway Thomas Richardson and George Brown of Baltimore County acknowledges them Selves Indebted to his Lordship the right hon’ble the Lord Prop’ry in the Sum of forty pounds Currant money of Maryland to be made and leavey’d on their body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the will of his Lordship his heirs and Sucksessors with Condition that if the above Thomas Treadaway keep an Ordinary or as an Innholder in the County afs’d. he Shall keep Good rules and orders and not Suffer idle loose or disorderly persons to triffle game or Committ other disorders Irregularities in Such ordinary Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the afs’d act of assembly Memorandom the Same Security for fifty Shillings Lycense money.
