     In the name of God, Amen. I Peter Glover of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland, ditcher, being sick and weak in body but in perfect mind and memory, thanks be given to Almighty God for the same. Do ordain this my last will and testament that is to say, in the first place I do humbly bequeath my soul into the hands of its merciful creator God and my body to the earth from whence it came to be decently interred by the Executor for this my last will and testament and as for my wordly estate wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me withall I do dispose of in manner and form following: In premis. I do bequeath unto my dearly beloved son Richard Glover the whole remainder of my Real and Personal estate after my just debts are paid.

     Item: I do desire that John Walker may have my chopping axe, he paying what it shall be appraised to.

     Item: I do devise that after my debts are paid if there be any remainder that Thomas Tredway bringing in his account against my estate and giving my estate a full receipt against all accounts he may have against it that he the said Thomas Tredway may have in his bonds without any further satisfaction to be rendered to my estate by him the said Thomas Tredway. And I do appoint my much esteemed friend Mr. Josias Middlemore my whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament utte(?) by revoking and disanulling all other and former legacies wills and testaments by me before bequeathed and do ratify and confirm this only to be my last will and testament.

     IN WITNESS — whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal this eighth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred twenty-two.

Signed sealed and delivered pronounced and declared to be the last will and testament of him the said Peter Glover before us:

     March the 6th 1722. Then came William Bradford and John Maccomas two of the subscribing evidences to the within mentioned will and made oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that they saw the testator Peter Glover sign and seal the within mentioned will as his last will and testament and that he published and declared the same to be and that at the time of his so doing he was of sound and perfect mind and memory to the best of their knowledge sworn to before me — John Israell deputy commissary of Baltimore County.
