In the Name of God Amen I Nathaniel Childe of Latimer in the parish of Chesham in ye County of Bucks husbandman being by the providence of God weake in bodie but of perfect memorie doe make this my last will and Testament upon the 25th of August 1647 in manner and forme as followeth

First I Comitt and comend my soule into the hands of Almightie god and of J. C. my mercifull Redeemer And I give my bodie to be buried in the Church yard of Latimer in the parish of Chesham aforesaid with comfortable Ease of ressurection to Eternall life by Vertue of ressurection of the lord J. C. my Saviour  Item for my Estate I Desire it my be Disposed of as followeth

  Impremis I give to my eldest sonne Nathan and his heyres all my house and all my Lande in

My lande in __en in the Countie of Bucks at the age of one and twentie years yf he so long live; And also I give to the said Nathan and his heyres all my woods growing and being upon the premises; except for xl_ worth of wood to be filled and sould by my executrix pleasure to pay legacies and debt

  Item I give and bequeath to my younger sonne William my house in fflanden in ye Countie of Hereford called by ye name Mabcroft? with the lande and appurtenances to him the said Wm & his heyres , at the age of xxi if he live soe long and alsoe my house with the b____ called by the name of Saywells in fflanden? that I give to my aforesaid sonne William at ye Decease of his mother if he outlive her

Item I give and bequeath to my 3 daughters Elizabeth, Sarah and Martha fortie pounds a peece at the age of twentie one yeares if they being long live, but if any of them dye before the said yeare of 21 be accomplished  my will and pleasure is that the said person or persons be equally Disposed of to my surviving daughter & that my eldest daughter Sarah shall have an equall part thereof

Item I give and bequeath to my eldest daughter ten pounds to be payed at the end of two yeares after my decease

Item I give to my wife Isabell all my house and lande in _en? and fflanden? aforesaid till my said sonnes Nathan come to the age of 21 years, And alsoe I give ye said house in Saywells _____ aforesd for ye terme of her life Also my will and pleasure is that my said wife Elizabeth (Isabell) shall have power by the appointment of ye overseers of the will sell outt ____ ____ ____ and sett the wood of xl_ value upon my ____ in _en? at her pleasure and when ____ convenient to paye debt and legacies

Item I make my said wife Isabell my no hold  and sole executrix of this my last will and testamt to goe to the decent interment and to fulfill my will in disingageing debte & legacies

Item I desire and hereby appoint that Richard Grove of fflanden? aforesaid my brother in law together with my 2 brothers William Childe and Richard Childe to be my Executors of this my last will & Testament; and doe allow them for their pains five schillinge a peece
