In the name of God Amen, I, Mary A. Treadaway, being of Sound mind but weak in body and calling to mind the uncertainty of life do make and institute this my last will and testament.
First, I will that my body be buried in a plain an desent (sic) style and that my funeral be paid by my Executors out of the means that may come to their hands from my Estate.
Second, It is my will that my children all be put out to homes selected by my executors.
Third, I will that my Executors take an inventory of all my personal Estate which I desire to be divided equal between all my heirs also I will and direct my Executors to rent my house and lot yearly the rents there of to be appropriately for the use and benefit of my three youngest children as they think proper.
Fourth, It is my will that none of my personal property be exposed to public sale and direct my Executors to choose three good disinterested men to divide it equal between all my children then take an inventory of each childs share and keep the property for them until they are of age or get married.
Fifth, I will that my Executors sell the present crop and all property they may think cannot be divided equal or kept safely for the children.
Sixth, I will my Executors to choose and select homes for all my children and to exercise the guardianship over them not wishing the court of the county to require any Security from them for discharging their duties it being my desire that none of my children should be bound out by the County Court and having he utmost confidence in the honestly and integrity of my executors to manage the lives means I leave for the benefit of my children. I ask the Court not require any bond of them.
Seventh, And lastly I appoint Casamore E. May and George W. May my Executors.
