This is my desire;

That my son James Gitting to have my case of Lances

Sarah Andrew my looking glace, and one feather bed and furniture, and eight puter plates

Six silver teaspons to my daughter, and 1 red? trunk, trunk with an iron clasp to lock, and also a black trunk with all the clothes in it of the lien (linen?) kind, and black satton cloth, black silk bonnett and hood, two silver table spoons

1 brace skilete to Thomas Tredway during his life, and then to my daughter Mary Lynch

Negro Diner (Dinah) to Mr. Tredway during his life and Joshua, also after his decease, to my daughter Mary Lynch

And to Mr. Tredway 2 silver table spoons during his life and all the other negroes to Thomas Tredaway during his life and then to chuse their masters and to be sold and the money divided between all my children

2 table cloths to Mr. Tredway

1 flowered damcus table cloth to Mary Gitting, daughter Asal Gittings and one negro woman named Josse

1 black velvet cloke (cloak) to Mary Andrew, and one black calliminkco quilt

1 cinch gound (gowm) and 1 green petticoat to Ann Counigim (Cunningham?)

And Mary Counigim (Cunningham?) 1 stript potting gound (gown)

All the rest of my wearing to my daughter Mary Lynch

1 feather bed and furniture to James Webster and eight puter plates

May the 31st 1779 Mr. James Gittings of Thos comes into court & make oath & that he was by when Mrs. Tredway Should have made her will & says he thinks Mrs. Tredway was not in her senses & that he doth not remember the whole substance thereof but he thinks it was something like the copy produced to the court

On this thirty first Dayof May in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and seventy nine came Thomas Lucas before the Orphans Court of Harford County now sitting and made oath on the Holy Evangills of Almighty God that he heard the Testatrix Mary Tredway in her last Sickness declare publish and utter the substance of the aforesaid writing to be her last will and Testament and that it was her will and desire and at the time of the said publication that She the Said Mary Tredway was to the best of his judgment of sound mind memory understanding and judgment and capable of making a will and that the aforesaid writing is a true coppy [sic] of her last will and desire in her lsat sickness

On this Seventh Day of June Seventeen hundred and Seventy Nine then came before this court Micajah Greenfield and made oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that is the copy of the original to the best of his knowledge except that of Negro Josha [sic] and and [sic] Dinar and that I was told to put in while she was yet able to Excise [sic] her reson [sic] and She acknowledged it to be her desire
(the probate of Mrs. Tredway will, by Thomas Lucas to be annexed to the copy of the will
