I Harvey Treadway of said Middletown being duly sworn depose and say that I am sixty years old that I am the brother of Josiah Treadway who married Rosa Cook as stated in the certificate of the Town Clerk of said Middletown hereto annexed; that said Josiah Treadway removed to Sharon in the Couty of Litchfield in said State.  I always understood that he served in the Revolutionary War.  He died about twenty years ago, as near as I can remember; leaving he said Rana his widow.  I have heard the said Josiah Treadway relate events which occurred, while he was in the Revolutionary Army, and particularly his

sufferings on board the prison ship; and I verify believe that the Josiah Treadway mentioned in the certificate of the Comptroller of he said State as having served in Colo. Samuel B. Webb’s Regiment is the Same Josiah Treadway.

I am Yours Respectfully
