     In the Name of God Amen, I John Deaver of Baltimore County of the Province being sick and weak of body but of a sound and disposing mind and memory do constitute and appoint this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say Chiefly and first of all I Recommend my Soul unto the hands of his Merciful Creator trusting in the morils of my blessed lord and savior for a Joyful Resurrection of the best way and as for my body I bequeath it to the Earth from whence it came to be decently interred by the Executor of this my last will and Testament and as for the worldly Estate wherewithat hath pleased God to bless me shalt I give bequeath and dispose of in manner and form following Imprimis:

     I give and bequeath unto my Son Richard Deaver part of a Tract of Land called Turkey Hills, the said land to begin att the turning of the land that Richard Ruff bought of me and to run North West untill it intersects the land Benjamin Jones bought of me, then with the said land untill it intersects the land Come by Chance then with a Straight line unto the first beginning but in case my said Son Richard Deaver will not accept of the above bequeathment in full Satisfaction for a certain Tract of land he formerly bought of me, my will then, is that the above said that the above land be sold by the Executrix of this my last will and Testament and the produce thereof to be paid unto the said Richard Deaver and heirs for Satisfaction, unto him or them for the aforesaid land __lied broken Islands.

     Item: I give and bequeath until my Son Samuel Deaver all my other lands with my dwelling plantation to him and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten in wedlock to have full and free possession thereof immediately Immediately after the decease of his Mother Hannah Deaver and further my will is that no Mortgage Deed of Sale or Deeds of gift or other bargain made, granted, or given by him the said Samuel Deaver shall be of force for any longer time then one whole year and in case my said Son Samuel Deaver should die without such lawful issue as above afores’d, then my will is that all the Land above bequethed unto my said Son Samuel Deaver be equally divided between my daughters Elizabeth Preston and Mary Deaver to them and their heirs forever and further my will and desire is that no law Statue or Custom whatsoever shall alter or anywise make voids any part of this my last will and Testament .

     Item: I give unto my Sons Richard Deaver, John Deaver, and Antill Deaver one Shilling each to be paid them by the Executrix of this my last will and Testament within one year after my demise if by then divided and as fourths rest of my personal Estate my will is that after my just debts are paid the remainder thereof remains in the possession of my dear and loving wife Hannah Deaver during her natural life and after her decease to be equally divided among my three children Samuel Deaver, Elizabeth Preston, and Mary Deaver, and Lastly I do Constitute and appoint my dear and loving wife Hannah Deaver my whole and Sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament utterly revoking and disanulling all other and form wills and Testaments Ratifying and confirming this to be my will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and affixed my Seal this Third day of January anno Domini 1731/32.

    Baltimore County March 18th 1731. Came Ann Tredway and Thomas Brasier two of the Subscribing Evidences to the above will and made oath on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they saw the Trestator John Deaver Sign and Seal and heard him publish and declare the same to be his last will and Testament and at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their knowledge of sound and disposing mind and memory and that they Subscribed the said will in presents of the said Testator Sworn to before
