The Last Will and Testament of Hosea Treadway late of the town of Ticonderoga in the County of Essex & state of New York proved and admitted to probate, October 9th 1871.

The last Will and Testament of Hosea Treadway.  In the name of God Amen.  I Hosea Treadway of the town of Ticonderoga in the County of Essex and State of New York do hereby Make publish and declare My last Will and testament in Manner and form following

First I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Olive.  All of my household furniture of every kind and my wearing apparel.  Second.  All the rest residue and remainder of my property real and personal and of Every Kind and nature soever and wheresoever situated.

I give devise & bequeath unto my son Alexander Jefferson Treadway my daughter Ellen Melissa Johnson, wife of Reverand Robert G Johnson, my son in – law Levi R Wolcott and my nephew Lemuel B. Treadway, to them their heirs and assigns forever to join the following properties that is to say to my said son one Equal third part thereof to my said daughter one Equal twenty fourth part thereof to my said son n – law Levi R Wolcott one Equal third part hereof and to my said Nephew Lemuel B Treadway seven Equal twenty forth parts thereof

Third I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Levi R Wolcott and Lemel B Treadway Executors of this my last will and testament  –  And I do hereby revoke all and Every former Will by me made.

We whose names are hereto subscribed do certify that Hosea Treadway the testator subscribed his name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of Eash of us and at the same time he declared in our presence & hearing that the same was his last will and testament and requested us and Each of us to sign our names thereto as Witnesses to the Execution thereof and which we have don accordingly in the presence off he testator and of Each other All in the day of the date of the Will
