Know all Men by these Presents That – George A Treadway and Elizabeth Treadway his wife of the County of Cass and State of Illinois in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to us paid by Edward N. Treadway of the County of Cass and State of Illinois the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell to Edward N. Treadway his heirs and assigns the following described real Estate, to wit: The North East quarter of the South East quarter of Section Number Thirty (30) in Township Nineteen (19)

North of Range No Eleven (11) West of the third principal Meridian To Have and To Hold the above described premises unto hims. the said Edward N. Treadway his heirs and assigns, with all the buildings, privileges, and appurtenances thereunto belonging; and the said George A. Treadway and Elizabeth Treadway do covenant and agree to, and with the said Edward N. Treadway his heirs and assigns that they are well seized of the above described premises, and have goo right to convey the same; that said premises are free from all incumbrance and that they will forever Warrant and defend the title to the above described premises unto the said Edward N. Treadway his heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims of any and all persons whomsoever.
In Testimony Thereof The said George A. Treadway and Elizabeth Treadway have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals this twentieth day of march AD 1869 ~

I Thomas R. Saunder clerk of the Circuit Court within and for said County do hereby certify that of the twentieth day of March AD 1869 – George A. Treadway and Elizabeth Treadway who are personally known to me to be the identical persons whose names are subscribed to the foregoing deed as having executed the same, did before me, acknowledge that they executed the said deed for the purposes therein expressed: And the said Elizabeth Treadway having been examined separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said deed having been by me full explained to her acknowledged that she executed said deed freely, voluntarily, and without any compulsion on the part of her said husband, and did hereby relinquish all claim to right of dower in and to the said premises described in said deed. In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of said Court this twentieth day of March AD, 1869 ~
