     In the name of God Amen I William Treadway Citizen and pewterer of London, and of the parish of St. Olaves Southwark in the County of Surrey Virtualle being sick and weak of Body but of sound Mind Memory and understanding praised be God for the same do therefore this first Day June and in the twelfth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Brittain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith ec. Annon Domin one thousand seven hundred and twenty six make and declare this my last Will and Testament in Writing in the manner and fform following that is to say:

     ffirst and principally I commend my Soul in the hands of Almightie God my Creator hoping for Salvation and through Meritts of the previous Blood off my Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named and as for that Estate and Estates and worldly Effects which God of his Goodness hath lent me I  have to the World in certain Assurance of an eternal inheritance in the Kingdom of Heaven and bequeath the same after my Debts and ffunerall Charges are fully satisfied and payd as followeth:

     Imprimis: I give and bequeath unto the next of Kin if demanded the Sum of one Shilling of lawful Money of Great Brittain twelve months and one Day after my Decease And all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Estates as well ffreehold Leasehold and Copyhold Estate and Estates aforesaid as also ready Money Goods Chattells Cloths Debts Rings Plate Jewells and all other my Effects whatsoever that I shall be possessed off or off Right shall belong owing and due to me at Time of my decease.

     Item: I give devise and bequeathe until my well beloved Wife Elizabeth Tredway to be full whole and Sole Executrix of this Will hereby revoking all formerly allowed and made and do publish and declare this present Writing contained in one Sheet of paper and none other to be my last Will and Testament.

     In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my Name and fixed my Seal the Day and Year first above written.
