     In the name of God Amen; I Eunice Kettell of Charlestown in the County of Middlesex & Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England Widow; being at this time in the free & Clear Exercise of any Reason though weak & Infirm in Body; and Considering the Uncertainty of thy life; after having Committed my Spirit into the hands of God hoping to obtain Mercy through the merits of my Blessed Saviour & Redeemer Jesus Christ & my Body to the Dirt to be buried in a Decent manner at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter named ; in hopes of a Glorious & happy Resurrection to Immortal Life; Do (in order that my Worldly goods may be disposed of according to my mind) make & ordain this my last WIll & Testament.

     In Primis: My will is that my just Debts & funeral charges be paid as soon as Possible by my Executor out of my Estate.

     Item: I give unto my Daughters in law Mary Penney and Mehetable Marble all such goods & household stuff as shall be found at my Desire which were set off to me at the Death of their father my late husband Deacon Jonathan Kettell: except the Linen & Likewise part of my Mourning aparrel, viz: a Gown and Petticoat & my Quilt Petticoat to be Equally divided between them or their heirs.

     Item: I give unto Mrs. Anna Kent wife of Ebenezer Kent of Charlestown aforesaid as a Token of Gratitude for her kindness to me; my dark silk gown, my Tea board, & Five Silver Tea Spoons.

     Item: I give to my Sisters Jones’s Daughters; Viz: Rebecca Badger and Abigail Jones Each Twenty Shillings Lawful money & besides to the said Abigail Jones I give my Gold Necklace.

     Item: My Will is that after my just Debts & Funeral Charges are paid & the above Legacies discharged out of the Estate the Remainder thereof of what name or nature whatsoever be Equally divided between my two Sisters Tabitha Monk and Katherine Bodman or their heirs .

     Item: I Constitute & appoint My Friend Mr. Caleb Cale of Charlestown aforesaid the Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament

     Item: Lastly I hereby Revoke & disannul all Former Wills by me made & Confirm this only to be my last Will & Testament

     In Witness whereof I have Hereunto Set my hand & Seal this Eighteenth day of April in the 7th year of Her Majesties Reign & in the year of Our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred & Sixty Seven.
