In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Tredaway of Wooburn in the County of Buck Bargmaster being sick in Body but of good and perfect mind and memory praised by to Almighty God for the same and calling to mind the uncertainty of this Life do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following That is to say ffirst and principally I commit my Soul into the hands of Almighty God trusting through the merits of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to retain free pardon and forgiveness of my Sins and to inherit Eternal Life And also my temporal Estate which the Lord in his mercy has lent me I give and bequeath as follows
Item I give and bequeath unto m loving Wife all my Lands Tenements Goods and Chattels whatsoever and wheresoever to hold this I give to her for and during the Term of her natural Life if she shall continue so long unmarried But my Will and desire that if she Marrys the she shall pay unto my four Daughters Mary Margaret Anne and Sarah and to each the Sum of One hundred pounds And my further Will and Desire is that if any or either of my Daughters shall Depart this Life before her or her Legacy shall become and And then my Will and desire is that her or their Legacy Shall be paid to the Survivors or Survivor of them Share and Share alike
Item I make and ordain my loving wife sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
Item I make and ordain my loving ffriend Ralph Rose Overseer and Trustee of this my last Will and Testament and I do desire him to See my last Will duly performed And my Will and meaning that my Executrix Shall pay him his reasonable expenses about the premisses
