I appoint you my Executor and Bequeath to you what I am Possessed of at my death after having paid out of my Effects my funeral Expenses and the following Legacies to my Brother Mr. John Tredway Ten Guineas for propagating the Gospel in fforeign parts Ten Guineas to be put the ffund for poor Ministers in the County Ten Guineas I desire to be buried near my Mother in Bunhill ffields in a descent private manner with sincere Desires for your present and future wellfare I bid Adieu

Which day personally William Tatnall of the parish of St. Martin Ironmonger Lane London Merchant and Joseph Leeds of the parish of St. Michael Cornhill London Merchant being severally sworn on the Holy Evangelist to depose the truth  made Oath as follows that they the Deponents knew and were well Acquainted with Susanna Tredway late of the parish of Chestnut in the County of Hertford Spinster deceased for several years before to the time of the death and also with her manner and Character of Handwriting and Subscription having often seen her write and Subscribe her Name and having now carefully viewed and perused the Paper Writing hereunto annexed purporting to be and contain the last Will Testament of the said deceased beginning thus “Sir I appoint you Executor and Bequeath to you what I am possessed of at my Death” ending with sincere Desires for your present & future Welfare I bid Adieu and Subscribed Sus. Tredway they these Deponents do depose that they do verify and in their Consciences believe the whole Series and Contents of the Said Paper Writing beginning ending and Subscribed as aforesaid to be all of the proper handwriting and Subscription of the said deceased

This Will was Proved at London the Sixth day of March in the Year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Seventy One before Worshipful Arthur Collier Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Worshipful George Hay Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully Constituted by the Oath of Thomas Tredway the Sole Executor named in the Will (it states John Tredway above) to whom Administration was  granted of all and singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the deceased haven been first Sworn duly to Administrator
