I Margaret Tredway of the parish of Upton in the County of Bucks widow being weake in body but through the great goodness of God of Sound disposing mind memory and understanding (for which I returne hearty thanks to him) Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament for the disposing of that outward Estate which it hath pleases the Lord to trust me with in manner following.
Imprimis: I will That all my such debts as I shall owe at the time of my death shall be paid and satisfied by my Executors hereafter named.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daugther Rebecca Dell the summe of fifty pounds of lawfull money of England.
Item: I give unto my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Outerloo the like summe of fifty pounds of like money.
Item: I give unto my Grand Daughter Mary Dell the like summe of fifty pounds of like money.
Item: I give unto my Cousin WIlliam Grinsdall the like summe of fifty pounds of like money.
Item: I give unto his Sister my Cousin Alice Kizton/Kirton the summe of five pounds of like money.
Item: I give unto my four Cozens Thomas Parratt William Parratt Henry Parratt and Elizabeth Glomister (Children of my Brother in Law Thomas Parratt of Chesham in the County of Bucks aforesaid Wheelwright) the summe of fifty shillings a piece of like money.
All which said severall Legaties I will shall be paid within one year next after my death unto such and see many of the Legatees before named as shall be then living But if any of the Legatees beforenamed shall be dead before that time Then I will that the Legaty and Legaties of him her or them soe dying shall cease And my said Executors shall not be liable to the payment thereof
Item: I give unto my Grand Son Richard Dell one piece of gold called a Guinea if he be living and shall ever come to receive the same.
Item: Unto my sister Anne Wenman I give one Annuity of Twenty Shillings by the year yearly for and during the term of her natural Life to be paid unto her by my Executors herein after named by halfe yearly payments and in equall proportion on the five and twenty day of the month called March and the nine and twentieth day of Septmember yearly The first payment thereof to be made on such of the said dayes of payment thereof as shall first come next after my death.
Item: I case my Estate shall fall short soe as that after all my Debts shall be paid there shall not be enough left to satisfy all the Legaties herein given Then I will That all and every the Legatees herein named (Except my said Sister Wenman shall be abated and paid short in their severall Legacies according to the proportion.
Item: All the Rest and Residue of my Estate which shall remaine (if any be left) after my debts shall be paid and the Legaties herein given discharged I give unto and betweene my said two Grand Daughters Rebecca Dell and May Dell whome I doe hereby make ordaine and constitute joint Executrixes of this my Will.
Item: I doe and nominate and appoint my loving friend and Neighbour Henry Gould of the parish of Iver ____ Ever in the said County of Bucks and my Son in Law Thomas Dell overseers of this my Will desiring them to be helpfull to my said Executrises in the ordering and disposing of my Estate to the best for the performing of this my Will And unto each of them my said overseers for his care and pains to to be taken therein one piece of gold called a Guinea.
Lastly revoking renouncing and utterly disannulling all other Wills by me at any time heretofore made I doe hereby declare only this to be my Last Will and Testament both in Deed and in Law.
In witness whereof I the said Margaret Tredway unto this my Last Will and Testament in the presence of us the said Testratrix subscribe the same as Witnesses
