     In the name of God Amen The twelth day of August 1775 I George Treadaway of the Parish of Harefield in the County of Middlesex Yeoman being sick in Body but of good and perfect Memory thanks be to the Almighty God for it do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following:

     ffirst and principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping and trusting assuredly through the Merits of my only Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and to Inherit Everlasting Life and my Body I commit to the Earth to be Decently buried at Harefield in the County at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named as touching the Disposal of such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to lend me here on Earth I give Devise and bequeath the same in manner following.

     Whereas I have all and singular my Copyhold Estate held of the Manor of Harefield in the said County of Middlesex with their and every of their Rights Members and appurtenances to such uses Intents and Purposes as I the George Treadaway shall by my last Will and Testament declare Direct and appoint the same which Surrender was taken in Court by the Steward Now I do hereby give Devise unto my dearly beloved Wife Sarah Treadaway all that my Cottage with an Orchard or Piglith? of Meadow Pasture called or known by the Name of Parcels of Longcroft containing one acre more or less within the Parish of Harefield and Manor of Harefield and now in the possession of Thomas Haynes a Laborer with the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said Premises To have and to hold to my said Wife Sarah Treadaway for and during the Term of her natural Life she keeping the same good and sufficient repair and from and after the decease of my said Wife Sarah Treadaway.

     I give devise and bequeath all that my said Copyhold Estate situate in the Manor and Parish of Harefield aforesaid with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto my son George Treadaway and to his heirs and assigns for ever Subject Nevertheless unto the payment of Eight pounds to Sarah Treadaway Mary Treadaway Benjamin Treadaway Joseph Treadaway and William Treadaway and to each of them Eight pounds now being my Children by my said Wife Sarah Treadaway which said Sumes of Eight pounds shall be paid within Twelve months next after my Wifes decease.

     Also I do hereby give Devise and bequeath unto my said loving Wife Sarah Treadaway all that my Copyhold Cottage with the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate and being in the Manor and Parish of Kyslip in the County of Middlesex and held by Copy of Court Roll situate and being near parks horn and now in the possession John Hill Laborour To have and to hold unto my said Wife Sarah Treadaway during her natural Life she keeping the same in good and sufficient Repair and from and after the Decease of my said Wife Sarah Treadaway.

     I give Devise and bequeath all that my said Cottage as aforesaid with the appurtenances thereunto belonging in the said Manor of Kyslip unto my said Son George Treadaway and to his heirs and assigns for ever subject Nevertheless unto the payment of fforty Shillings unto Sarah Treadaway Mary Treadaway Benjamin Treadaway Joseph Treadaway and William Treadaway and to each of them the Sum of fforty Shillings each shall be paid within Twelve Months next after my said Wifes decease .

     Also I give Devise and bequeath unto my said wife Sarah Treadaway all my Cattle hay and Stock also all the household goods ffurniture Rings Jewels Manor or Debt owing to me whatsover or wheresoever after my Debts and ffuneral Expenses are paid by my said Wife any my Will and Mind is that I do hereby declare and order that in Case my said Wife shall Mary again after my decease Then I do give the Rents Issues and Profits all and singular my Copyhold Estates aforesaid unto my son George Treadaway Subject nevertheless to the said payment of the sum of Eight pound each unto my said Children and also the sum of fforty Shillings to each of my said Children which shall be living at the time of the said payments shall become due and payable and in Case either of my said children shall die before that the payments shall become due my will is that it shall be for my said son George Treadaway and his heirs for ever.

     I do also appoint my Brother Benjamin Treadaway and Joseph Mores Executors to this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and former Will or Wills by me made at any time whatsoever.

     In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the year and day above written.
