Know all Men by these Presents. That we William H. Treadway, Ellen Treadway, Emily E. Treadway and Henry C. Pratt are held and firmly bound unto Christian Stock – – – In the penal sum of Five Hundred Dollars good and lawful Money of the United States of America, for which payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves, our heirs executors administrators jointly and severally firmly by thes(e) Presents. Sealed with our Seals and dated this 27_ day AD 1894-
Whereas the above bounden William H. Treadway is an heir at law of Franklin M. Treadway decd. and as such heretofore seized of a certain interest to wit: one sixteenth part of certain premises described as follows: Fifty acres in section Ten (10) Township seventeen North of Range Eleven West 3rd PM, bounded as follows, commencing at the South East Corner of said section 10 thence running North on said section line 220 rods: Thence running West 36 1/2 rods: Thence running South 220 rods: Thence running East 36 1/2 rods to the place of the beginning, also Fifteen acres in said section Ten described as follows, Commencing at the North West Corner of said 50 acre tract above described. Thence running South on the West line of 50 acre tract 74 rods: Thence running East 32 1/2 rods to the beginning. All in Cass County, Illinois. And Whereas said premises has been sold and conveyed to said Christian Stock – by Deed dated February 23, 1894, which said Deed was signed by said William H. Treadway who is a minor. Now the condition of this obligation is such that if said William H. Treadway within a reasonable time after he shall become of lawful age so to do by deed of

certification or other proper conveyance convey to said Christian Stock his heirs executors administrators or assigns, his said undivided interest in and part of said premises, and without any consideration to be paid to him said William H. Treadway by Christian Stock or assigns for so doing, and also if and in case Ellen Treadway Emily E. Treadway & Henry C Pratt their heirs executors or administrators shall in the Meantime and until said William H. Treadway shall be by his deed of ratification or other proper Conveyance Conveyed said interest in said premises to said Christian Stock save defend and keep harmless and indemnified said Christian Stock his heirs executors administrators and assigns and the said premises rents issues and profits thereof of and from all claims and demands to be Made thereto by or in behalf of or on the part of said William H. Treadway and also if Ellen Treadway Emily E Treadway and Henry C Pratt their respective heirs executors administrators and assigns do and shall until Conveyance and Assurance be Made and executed as aforesaid and suffer said Chirstian Stock his heirs executors administrators and assigns to have receive and take to his own proper use the said premises and the rents issues and profits thereof and every part and parcel thereof without any Manner of disturbance or hinderance of said William H Treadway or his heirs executors administrators or assigns or of any other person or persons whatsoever by his Means or procurement, then this obligation to be Void otherwise to remain in full force.
