This is the last Will and Testament of me John Tre(a)dway of the parish of Saint Ann(e) within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex Esquire which I make and publish now I am in sound mind and memory and a good state of health in order to settle my affairs and to dispose of my Estate and Efforts and thereby prevent any controversy or dissent that may after my Death arise between my Wife and Son concerning the Division thereof in manner following that is to say I direct that my Body after Death may be

decently buried with the parish Church of Saint Anne aforesaid or elsewhere in such Decent but private manner as to Armine my Dearly beloved Wife shall seem moot to whom I commit the sole Care and Management thereof and as to for and concerning all my Messuages ffarms Lands Tenements and hereditaments whether the same be ffreehold Copyhold or Leasehold and all my ready Money Securities for Money Stocks in the publick ffunds or Government Securities place Jewells pictures Books Leasehold Goods and ffurniture and all other my Real Estate and personal Effects whatsoever and wheresoever of what nature condition or quality soever the same are or at my death shall or may be I do hereby do Give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof and all my Estate Right and Interest therein unto and to the use of the said Armine my dear Wife her heirs and Assigns for ever to be at her soul Disposition and sole and absolute power I not in the least Doubting but that my said Dear Wife will in the Execution of that power show the utmost Regard to my Son and of this my Will and Testament I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Dear Wife the sole Executrix and do revoke and make void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last
In Witness whereof I have hereunto that is at the top and bottom of the first page hereof Set my hand and to the Seal this Eighteenth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty three

On the 4th Day of December 1781, Admin (with the Will annexed) of the Goods Chattels and Credits of John Treadway late of the Parish of Saint Ann(e) Westminster in the County of Middx Esq. deceased left Administrated by Armine Treadway widow the Relict and Universal Legatee name in the said Will of the said deceased was granted Elizabeth Treadway Widow the Admin of the Goods unadmin. of the said Armine Treadway Decd she having been first sworn duly to Administrate the said Armine Treadway dying Intestate
