The Reverend Ligonier Treadway Will

     In the Name of God Amen I Ligonier Treadway of Kirbymoorside in the County of York Clerk being of sound mind and memory and understanding do make this my last Will and Testament manner following viz ~

After payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath to Jane Gray Treadway my lawful Wife all and ____ my real estate and Estates and penalties of what nature or kindsoever that I may have at the time of my death Upon trust ____ and to and for the interests and purposes following that is to say ~

I give and bequeath to my brothers John and ffrancis Treadway the sum of twenty pounds each also five Guineas to Thomas Harrison a ring/

Surgeon and Apothecary of Kirbymoorside aforesaid And I hereby further do constitute and appoint Jane Gray Treadway aforesaid my Sole Executrix to this my last Will Testament In Witness whereof I the said Ligonier Treadway have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine

Signed Sealed and delivery by the Testator as his last Will and Testament the words “I give and bequeath” being first interlined in our presence at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other

Proved at London 18 ffebruary 1831 before the Judge by the Oath of Jane Gray Treadaway widow the Relict the Sole Executrix to whom Admin? was granted having been first sworn by Commission duly to Administrator
