In the name of god Amen. I George Tredwaye of Fulmire in the county of Buck yeoman being weake in bodey but in good and p[er]fect memory blessed be god for it doe make and ordaine this my last will and testamt this being the __________ day of February in the yare of our lord god one thousand six hundred fiftye and eight: first I comend my soule in the hands of my almighty god my maker & curator hoping _________ the blessed merits of my blessed lord and savior Jesus Christ of a ____________ joyfull resurrection att the last day: I commit my bodey to the earth whereof it was made to be desently buryed att the discressione of myne executor hereafter named
Itme I give and bequeath unto Julian my deer and loving wife all my houshould goods whatsoever that are now in my lower lodging chamber and my best Hed cowes & my best ____
hayy and three of my best ______ sheepe att the choice of my said wife: and my best stack of bees and all my linen in the house excepting T[hose?] [____] of ordinary lodging [_____] & my best [____] in the house: And likewise I give & bequeath unto Julyan my said wife that my lease of that house and land ^ situate and being in the p[ar]ish of Fullmir afor:esaid during ^ her natural life the [____] tenamt of that lease for my said wife heirs executors Administrators or Assignes to dispose of all [_____] she wills and pleases : farther my will is that Julian my now wife shall have the use of this my now lodging harein after named during the Tearme of the lease of this my now dwelling house and ingreasse egrese esgrese [___] and passage to and from my said chamber aforenamed therein my now dwelling house land & premises and likewise fore liberty for my said wife to [__] have for heir [necessary?] use the useing of all my household goods both [brissle pender tabes] and woodden vesseles [____] for heir necessary dressing of heir meate & drinke and the use of drink vesseles to put heir drinke into and free liberty ^ to dress heir [____] & bake heir bread in any of the Chimneyes ^and [___] in my now dwelling house And likewise my will is that my ^now wife shall have p[___] for heir said ^and ten and heir fouer ^ewe sheepe and thir[______?] untill ^the [ ] fouer and Twentieth day of June yearely & every way and and storhou[se] to have fir[st] liberty to bee kept with my executors cattell: my said wife [needing?] winter meats for heir said cowe [ ] and thease for the feeding heir hayy att heir own cost & charges: [ ] my will is that my said wife shall in faye all theise [______] aforementioned both of goods & cattell during the lease of this my now dwelling house and also my willis that my said wife of heire said cowes: and for liberty to be by the [pier]? in the house wthout Molly?acorn? further my will is that if my executor and Julyan my now wife shall not lovingly agree together and my wife shall bee willing to departe from this my dwelling house and leave the _____ of the keeping? of here cowes sheepe and hayy and use of the houshold goods then I give and bequeath unto Julian my said wife thirty shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid yearely & every yeare during by my myne executors during the lease of this my now dwelling house if she shall so long live
ITEM I give and bequeathe the lease of all that wood unto George my sonne ^his executors and [___] or Assigns that my lease of of all that my Arible and [____] ground in the occupation of Mathew Hall/Dell: and that w[i]th____? in the occupation of [___] Robert Browne late deceased – and also I give and bequeath unto my said sonne George my will is that George my son shall pay oute of the out ^of the [sic] ground aforementioned unto John my sonne the [____?] and full some of eight pounds the yeare yearely & every yeare during the tearme of the said lease att two days of paymt in the yeare: that is to say the 24th of June and the 25th of December bee [____] & equall portions: but if George my sonne his executor Administrator or assignes shall faile of paying the eight pounds by the yeare for the said leaseland: unto John my sonne then my will is that this bequeath aforenamed to George my sonne shall sease and be to the onely use of my said sonne John his executors Administrators and assignes during the tearme of the said lease
Itme I forth[?] give and bequeath unto George my sonne his executors Administrators or Assignes that my lease Above mentioned of that house and land in the occupation of Daniell More above named after the decease of Julyan my now wife
I allso give and bequeathe unto George my sonne my black hayfor [heifer] wch is now in Calf: and likewise I give unto George my sonne all my planes harrows cords and emplements of husbandry wch I have att the vath? in Chalfont St. Gyles: and [Agreote puder?] dish wch I bought of the Earle of Auglesaye[?] and a [puder?] flagon & ablect[?] faad[?] brince[?] wch silvers & my next best[?] stack[?] of bees [ ]
Item I give and bee quath unto John my sonne ^his executors Adminstrators and assignes my grandlease of Upton Wood and my my now built house uppon part of that Upton Wood and all other my lands [???] in the said grand lease [???] all those lands before m[entioned] bequeathed unto Julyan my now wife and George my sonne my will is that John my sonne shall wthin three monthes ^after my deease make a lease unto Julyan my wife and George my sonne thire[sic] executors adminstrators or assignes of all lease land & tenant & pre[m]isses herein before specified According to the trew intent of this my said last will & testament as it is expressed Further I give and bequeath unto Julian my wife twenty shillings [per?] yeare to be paid to her [?] unto by John my sonn his executors Adminstrators every year during her natural life:
Itme I give and bequeath unto Al[i]ce Tredway my daughter the just and full some of tenn pounds of lawfull mony of England to be paid to heire by John my sonne his executors Administrators or assignes att or within six years next after the nine and twentyeth day of September next ensuing or att the day of heire marryage wch shall first happen: but if Alice my daughter shall happen to dye before the said terme of six yeare bee expired or before heir day of marryage: then my sonn John shall not paye the said tenn pounds to nobody else: but to be to his use and bey[?]:
