Thomas Tredway son of Walter Treadway Citizen and Glover of London, came before the Chamberlain the Day and Year aforesaid, and desired to be admitted into the Freedom of the City by Patrimony in the Said Company of Glovers because his is legitimate, and was born after the Admission of his Father into the Said Freedom. The Admission of his Father is entered in the Book marked with the Letter and bears Date the Tenth day of June in the 6th Year and Reign of James and in the Year of our Lord 1707.

We declare upon the Oaths we severally took at the Time of our Admission into the Freedom of this City that Thomas Tredway is the Son of Walter Tredway Citizen and Glover of London; and that he was born in lawful Wedlock after the Admission of his Father into the Freedom of this City; That he is the son so reputed and taken to be, and so we all say.
