     In the name of God Amen The foure and twentieth day of August in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred and fifty and twoe I Amy Treadway of London widdowe being sicke of bodye but of sound and perfect memory praise be given to God for the same And knowing the uncertantye of this life on earthe and being desired to settle things in order Doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following That is to say ffirst and primarally I Comend my soule to Allmighty God my Creatour aforesaid by believing that I shall receave full pardon and free Remission of all my Sinnes by the ____ Deathe and Merritt of my Saviour Christ Jesus And my body to the Earthe from whence it was taken to be decentlie buried in the parish of St. Andrewes Undershaft London by the body of John Tredway Citizen and Grocer of London my late husband deceased insure decent and Christian manner as to my Executor hereafter named shalbe thought moote and ____ And as touching such worldly Estate as the Lord in ____ hath lent mee my will and meaning is the ____ shall be enjoyed and bestowed as hereafter by this my will is expressed.

     And first I doe revoke renounce ____ ____ and make void all Wills by me formerlie made and doe declare this my last will and Testament And after my funerall Expenses are discharged and Debts which Fewe or ought to pay are paied and satisfied I desire of my Estate as hereafter expressed.

     Imprimis: I give and bequeathe unto John Smith of Baford in the County of Hartford gent. my loving ffather the sume of twenty pounds And to Mrs Anne Smith my loving Mother the sume of twenty pounds.

     Item: I give and bequeathe unto my loving Uncles Walter Cary and M. William Bolton the sume of five pounds to eache of them to by them Rings.

     Item: I give and bequeathe unto Mr. Simon Thorold the sume of five pounds to buy hime a Ring.

     Item: I give and bequeathe to Mr. Michaele Northe the sume of five pounds to buy hime a Ring.

     Item: I give and bequeathe unto Mrs Bridgett fferrowe the sume of twentie to be paid within twelve Months next after my decease in Case she survive mee.

     Item: I give and bequeathe unto Mr. John Thorold the sume of twelve pounds to be paid withing twelve Months after my decease in Case hee survive mee..

     Item: I give unto Anthony Thorold Apprentice unto my late husband the sume of one hundred pounds to be paid him in twelve Months in Case hee survive me in Consideration of his Coming from his trade and helping mee to get in and receave my debts And also give ____ him thirtie pounds and to me from my brother Thomas Tredway and to takeing him to be my servant to maintaine him during such tymes as he shalbe be employed by my Executor hereafter named to receave and gett in my debts which are due to mee att the time of my decease hoping hee will doe the same faithfullie and honestlie.

    Item: I give unto Elizabeth fflint my mayd that attens me the sume of tenn pounds to be paid to her within twelve months after my decease And likewise all such wearing Clothes as are mine or my late husbands except what is hereafter named and the sume of fifteen pounds to be paied to my ____ ____ and their heirs yearlie during her natural life .

     Item: I give unto Elizabeth Slight Rebecca Blocker and Henry Cox the sume of fiftie shillings a peece in Case they survive me.

     Item: I give unto my loving Sister Mrs. Elizabeth Smith my blue Tabby petticoat my wrought Bedd and all its Appurtenances my best Suite of Damaske lynnone two paire of my best longest sheets with pillowboarde All my old p___ and one dozen of plates.

     Item: I give unto my sister Mrs Anne Wooliner all my now puter All my brass and all the Lynnon except that given to my Sister Elizabeth as aforesaid and odd bedd and Bedding pillowes and all belonging thereunto.

     And my will is that all my land shalbe sold att the best advantage and two hundred pounds of the Money paied unto my aforesaid Father and one hundred pounds to my said Mother for her Securitie for Annuitie of six pounds during her natural life.

     Item: I give to my nephew John Thorold the sume of one hundred pounds to be paid him att the Age ne and twentie yeares if he shall soe long live which ____ the Deathe of my Mother aforesaid if it shall happen that shee dye before he accomplishe the Age of one and twenty yeares as aforesaid to remaine in the hands of my Executor during the ____ of my said nephew .
And my will is alsoe that when all my funerall expenses debts and legacies shall be satisfied and paied that then all the Residue and remainder of my Estate whatsoever shalbe equally divided between my said ____ ____.

     And I will that Mr. Robert Abbott the Minister of St. Augustine parish be desired to preache my funerall sermon And that hee have fiftie shillings paid him for doeing the same.

     And I doe appoint my brother in law Wicksted Wallmer sole executor of this my last will and Testament.

     In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale to this my last will and Testament mentioned in three sides and a half of paper the day and yeare written. I desire my Uncle Michaell North and my Uncle Michaell Bolton to be Overseers of of this Will that it be in all things performed as below therein directed
