     In the name of god amen in the monthe of February in the year of our lord god a. d thousande fytn hunderth liij^t I Richard Teadway [sic] of Hardwyck^e in the Counti^e of Buck husbandman being whole of mynde and in good memory but sick in body thanks be to god/ mak^e my testament and last will in man[ner] and form^e following

     First I gyve and bequeath my soule unto almyghtie god and my body to be buryed in the Churchyard of hardwyck/ Item I gyve and bequith unto my wiff sixe kyn^e and two Bullogks [sic] and all my Leasis and Mayres and all my household stuf except one Cupboard that standith in the hall a fetherbedd arowatt[?] and a payer of sheets which I gyve to John my sonne

     Item I gyve to my said wife iij^£ that M^r Bennett Lee oweth me and iij^£ xiij^sh iiij^d/ that John Haule and Willi[a]m Bruther[?] of Alesbrey oweth me

     Item I gyve to John Teadway my sonne nynestone poundes when he comeyth to the age of xxi^t yeres

     And I gyve to the poo^re folks of hardwick xlb/ and to the mending of hy^ewayes of hardwick liij s^l iiij d

     Item and I gyve to my wif all my shepe/ and in case my wife be wyth child and that it chance the same child to lyve until it come to lawful age then I will that the sam^e child shall share out of John my sonnes score & fourtn^e pounds and of this my testament and last will I ordeyne and make Margarett my wife John Tredway my sonn^e & John Thi^ede my Father in law myn Executors/ and I ordeyne and make John Wilson of Hardwycke overseer of the same wytness

     Item: I gyve to my wif all my sh___ And in case my wif be with child and that it th___ the said child to hyr untill it come to lawful age than I will that the said child shall ____ out of John my sonnes ____ fortie pounds and of this my last Testament and Will.

     I ordaine and make Margaret my wif and John Tredway my sonne John Thede? my father in law Executors and I only __ and make John Wilson of Hardwycke overseer of same wytness.h
